The two medium-sized family-owned companies will work together in close cooperation to offer in-house drive solutions arising from the rapid development in all electromobility segments. Specific strengths will be bundled in the Joint Venture Morat Swoboda Motion.
The automotive supplier Swoboda Hartmann is the market leader in the manufacture of hybrid assemblies and sensor components. In particular, the company will contribute its vast experience in the automotive industry. The Franz Morat Group specializes in the manufacturing of high-precision gears – from development to series production.
In the current and coming year, the Joint Venture will be investing more than 10 million euros and will in future be offering gears for e-mobility. The first orders have already been completed. As of the second quarter of 2019, production is to begin in Nowa Ruda in Poland.
