The Swoboda plant in Cisnădie near Sibiu was established in 2004 as a facility for the production of sensors and switch assemblies. It currently has a workforce of around 600. Activities focus on manual and semi-automated assembly of hybrid modules, switches, and sensors, as well extensive testing operations.
Sibiu is located in the Cibin River Valley in the heart of Transylvania. German-speaking settlers arrived in the region more than 800 years ago and the charm of the culture they developed over the centuries continues to attract numerous tourists today. Swoboda’s facility in Cisnădie is located about 13 kilometers outside of Sibiu.
