More than 200 employees work at our facility in Schorndorf, which houses the development units for sensors, electronics, and systems, as well as the following departments: Sales OEM Customers, Purchasing, Quality, Testing, and Production Equipment. A new Sales and Development Center opened in Schorndorf at the beginning of 2019. The establishment of this center, which has a total area of approximately 2,000 m², led to the creation of around 70 high-quality jobs for engineers who now develop technologically advanced products and solutions with the help of state-of-the-art systems and technologies.
Schorndorf, the birthplace of Gottlieb Daimler, is located in the scenic Remstal valley near Stuttgart. Schorndorf boasts many timber frame houses and an historical Old Town, as well as a lively cultural scene and extensive opportunities for leisure-time activities. Schorndorf is only a short trip from Stuttgart by car or via the Stuttgart suburban rail network.
